What do our students say about ethics?

Texas Tech has traditionally conducted an ethics survey among students as part of our annual Arbor Day festivities. In this session, participants will learn about TTU student perspectives on academic integrity and ethics by examining findings from the 2019 and 2022 surveys. We will begin by comparing perspectives shared by undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty, and then we will discuss ideas for fostering a culture of academic integrity on our campus. Our goal: To leverage the purpose of academic integrity within the scholarly community and its importance for the responsible creation of knowledge to develop practical strategies for communicating with our students about the value of academic integrity in their work.
