Texas Tech University

HSI Fellows Program

The purpose of the Title V: Sirviendo a los Estudiantes Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Fellows program is to intentionally create a community of knowledge around the university’s HSI designation and build upon faculty, staff, and student success. The Office of Campus Access & Engagement seeks to partner in the creation of a definition of servingness1 for our institutional context to best support our Hispanic/Latinx students at Texas Tech University (TTU). By engaging faculty in mentoring, workshops, storytelling, culturally engaging practices, and campus community projects, the program aims to expand and engage in our definition of ‘Servingness1’ and enhance a network of support.
